Combe Martin Community Pages

Combe Martin, the historic and scenic village on the North Devon Coast, has a rich heritage of mining, fishing, farming, and horticulture. Historically a close coastal community, we have several unique Devonshire customs and traditions.

Our popular events include the famous Hunting of the Earl of Rone festival, our Carnival, and monthly Farmers’ Markets. The village has a vibrant community life, various local organisations, and businesses.

Local facilities include the vintage Village Hall, the Community Shop, Combe Martin Museum and Information Point. Our pre-17th-century Community Centre was once a Church House and School.

Combe Martin is also a popular destination for tourists, walkers, and history hunters. The village offers beaches, a Wildlife Park, the South West Coastal Path, and several historic landmarks and monuments.
